I’m Anita Ortiz Lubke, founder of ShiftSmart AI Solutions Architect, where I help businesses harness artificial intelligence and automation to work smarter, faster, and more profitably. With nearly two years dedicated full-time to this field, I’ve helped real estate agents, investors, and business owners integrate AI into their daily operations — from lead generation to workflow automation.

A former banker and Senior Executive with firms like Merrill Lynch, UBS, and Morgan Stanley, I’ve also built and led startups, ran national product lines servicing millions of clients, owned hospitality businesses, and co-founded tech ventures. Across it all — from startups to multi-billion-dollar companies — one theme has remained constant: understanding the customer journey and designing systems that make it better.

Today, I combine that experience to train and consult through ShiftSmart AI, where strategy meets implementation. I also teach on AI and Automation for Continuing Education (CE) credits through TREC, helping real estate professionals understand and apply these tools to grow their businesses with confidence.

  • Joined a group of 6 and launched a national lending product to 8,000 Financial Advisors across Morgan Stanley. As Product Manager, my role involved all aspects of the client journey - product structure, process, forms, legal, training, technology and more. Business grew to $5B in 5 years.

  • Purchased, designed, renovated and rebranded the historic Stonewall Motor Lodge. Featured in the NY Times, Better Homes and Gardens, The Today Show, and Magnolia TVs Remotel series.

  • One of the first sales people for UBS and Merrill Lynch for various lending products.

  • 15 year real estate agent and investor in Texas, involved in over 100 transactions across all aspects (flips, rentals, Airbnbs, wraps, sub-tos and more)

  • Co-founded a travel app for the Texas Wine Country. Responsible for all aspects of the technology build and user interface.

  • Leveraged the 2024 Eclipse to launch a custom solar glasses ecommerce store. Revenue of close to $400,000 in 8 months across DTC, wholesale, and custom orders.
